It is stunning and also is a collectible item. The coral carving has a lot of depth and is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are a few pale streaks of pink and the overall color is a pale, pale pink and white overtone. The stick pin that goes into the hair is bright silver and non-magnetic. It has a hinge that allows the coral carving to be tilted up or to the side. The silver shine of the hair stick does not show up in the photos. The coral carving rests securely on a metal base -- which is magnetic -- and is set very securely. This is a beautiful, rare, one-of-a-kind hair jewelry.
