Gorgeous blue, turtleback larimar pendant! Large, outstanding, and beautifully set ocean blue. Artisan made and handmade in my shop by me from AAA turtleback larimar from the Dominican Republic and with a sterling silver surround. This is a very exquisite turtleback pear shaped or tear drop shaped gemstone of larimar. The stone is approximately 1-1/2 inches tall and with the bail is approximately 1-3/4 inches tall. The width at the bottom is approximately a little over one inch. It is hand-set in sterling silver and made to last! The pattern and color of this stone are outstanding! This is an especially nice piece of larimar. Great Gift Idea for Christmas or anytime!
Larimar is only mined in the Dominican Republic and is also called the "Stefilia's Stone". It is a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean.
